The RI-PATHS project (Research Infrastructure Impact Assessment Pathways) is organising a special workshop on RI impact assessment on the afternoon of 25 June 2019, directly following the MERIL-2 conference.

What: The RI-PATHS aims to develop comprehensive metrics for research infrastructures’ socio-economic impact and related financial investments. The project outcomes are expected to give policy makers, funders and RI managers the tools to assess RI impact on the economy and contribution to society.

Why: Taking the opportunity of the RI community gathering for the MERIL-2 final event, RI-PATHS project would like to invite interested participants to join a session that will further address issues related to the definition of impact pathways and the practical implementation of a socio-economic impact assessment.

Who: RI-PATHS welcomes the participation of all interested stakeholders, and especially invite representatives from smaller or non-flagship RIs, as well as those from a broad spectrum of countries and scientific domains, to share their perspective.

How: RI-PATHS will pre-circulate brief reading material and guiding questions about one month prior. We encourage participants to provide their input before the meeting.

Where: Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, Portugal

When: 25 June 2019 from 14:30 to 17:30
