InRoad’s ‘The Validation Workshop’

The Validation Workshop will be held on the 01 and 02 October 2018 at Renaissance Hotel in Brussels. The aims of the project are to deliver recommendations and benchmarks for a better coordination of RI policies and funding mechanisms in Europe. To achieve this objective, InRoad is preparing a final set of policy insights that will be discussed during the Validation Workshop. These insights build upon the InRoad consultation report, the InRoad compendium, workshops and a series of case studies and interviews. They will touch upon 4 areas, namely (1) the coordination of national and European roadmap processes, (2) embedding RI roadmap processes in national research and innovation systems, (3) higher degree of coordination between regional, national and European funding frameworks and, (4) best practices and common standards for RI business planning. After this workshop, the insights will be refined, compiled in a final report and released during InRoad’s final conference in December.
