MERIL at 2nd Cooperation Workshop in Korea

On 30 and 31 October 2018 the MERIL team was invited to attend the 2nd Cooperation Workshop hosted by NFEC in Korea. The aim was to find out more about NFEC’s interest in aligning their own database, ZEUS, with MERIL, with a view to drafting an action plan towards enabling interoperability between both databases in Spring 2019.

During the event, the MERIL team got a thorough introduction of the operations at NFEC with dedicated presentations from their deliberation, policy and information teams. The MERIL team also learned more about NFEC’s User Analytics Dashboard and their impressive real-time monitoring of Research Infrastructures. The highlight of the workshop was the facility visit to the tokamak-type nuclear fusion reactor.
