Industrial Research Infrastructures: the role of the regions to support industry access

Easy to find and access to industrial research infrastructures as fast as access to the cloud was one of the conclusions of the workshop organised in March 2018 “Towards a European approach on Industrial Research Infrastructures” (report available online) by DG RTD, in cooperation with DG GROW, DG JRC, DG REGIO, and DG CNECT. Building on this ambition, the workshop aims to highlight examples of Industrial Research Infrastructures open to regional and cross-regional stakeholders. The discussion will focus on how to make them visible and accessible to industry, independently from their regional location, and how to link industrial needs with regional policy planning for growth and jobs.
