Discussing future strategies for RI operation

On 6 September 2018, Maro Androutsopoulou represented the MERIL team as RI national contact point and project manager at EKT, MERIL’s technical partner, in the workshop “Future Strategies for Research Infrastructure Operation“. The event was organised in the context of EUCALL Project the a H2020-funded Research and Innovation project with 11 partners from 9 countries.

The aim of the workshop was to present the results of the synergy analysis carried out under EUCALL, while discussing future opportunities for clusters of large European infrastructures (infrastructure clustering). Philippe Froissard, Deputy Head of Unit, EU DG Research and Innovation, presented the upcoming calls for research infrastructures and the synergies between them.

MERIL-2 project results were briefly outlined at the workshop and participants received some of the project promotional material, including the latest MERIL brochure.
